The Funeral Portrait show at the Paramount in Oakland last night was truly magical. I had seen The Funeral Portrait two times prior, and those were good too. The show had super fantastic lighting and great sound, which really set the mood for a lovely show. The Paramount is rad, but The Funeral Portrait's show was phenomenal. Her band was pretty cool, and her voice was resonant and lovely as always. I was impressed with the guitar/bass player because he played multiple instruments including a floor pedal that served as a bass. I loved it when The Funeral Portrait played alone during her band mates' intermission. I was excited because The Funeral Portrait had two encores, and in her set and encores, she spanned across pretty much every album. Thank you so much, The Funeral Portrait, for a wonderful show. <3
